Register for alerts

How to register.

1. Create an account.
   Enter your preferred language, name, email address, and phone number. You will also be asked to set up a User ID and password.
    
2. Enter and confirm address.
   Enter and confirm your email address.
    
3. Confirm phone number.
   Confirm your phone carrier and choose a confirmation so we can activate services on your phone. If you're unable to receive text messages on your phone, there is an option for an automated phone call.
    
4. Select notification preferences.
   Select the notification(s) you want to receive. Trinity County recommend subscribers select all provided communication methods, as not all alerts will be sent to all the alert methods or preferred languages.

Weather Alerts

The National Weather Service (NWS) office in Eureka, California, provides weather alerts for Trinity County, including warnings for severe weather conditions. Residents can receive these alerts through various channels, such as NOAA Weather Radio, the Emergency Alert System, and local emergency management notifications.
